Marc-Antoine Goulard

Image Marc-Antoine Goulard
Marc-Antoine Goulard composes his paintings as Claude Debussy did his symphonic poems:
Field prosody, horizontal
Metaphysical field, vertical.
Blue is a key color of harmony.
Smooth, sometimes cratched material is deposited flat then suddenly it rises a single « grace note » an impromptu touch of a color slenderized by sunlight from the bright landscape bathed in murmuring waves, indicible, a smiling regret.
Marc-Antoine entrusts us with this regret tender and fugitive, the pace of the matter, for us to play our own part in the "Symphony of becoming" the exquisite moments of lost happiness.
